treadmills
Camarogirl67 asked:

I have heard that fold-up treadmills are not meant for running, cannot handle running and are only meant for walking. Is this true?

Yes, but just keep an eye on it, they have been know to form groups and run away on their own at night.

Have a look at Sole’s folding treadmills. They feature safety lock decks, easy assist folding and a unique horseshoe support that means they are as stable as, if not more stable than, most stationary treadmills. Other patented features include the Whisper Deck (replaced free of charge if it ever wears out) and various assembly features.

    Depending on your running style.

If you are interested in doing low speed (3-5 mph) for shorter period (less than 10-15 minutes) every other day, then fold-up treadmills are OK.

If you are a daily runner for long distance, like I run every other day, at least 7 miles and sometimes 10 miles at 7.5-7.8 mph, then these treadmills will break down within no time.
