My last cardio session I ran for 30 minutes and walked on an incline for 30 minutes totaling 60 minutes/5 miles/ and it says I burned 812calories do you think this is accurate
What’s is the actualy amount of calories that i am burning then

    no not really I would invest in heart rate monitor with a telemetry strap

    No way, i never reply on my treadmill to tell me what i have actually burnt. And the better you are and running and the fitter you are, the more inaccurate it gets. Depending on what you weigh and fast you went, its more in the range of 500 - 600 calories

    Since the treadmill is able to determine how much ‘work’ has been done then yes it is able to calculate calories as long as it is properly adjusted.
