treadmills
worker bee asked:

I’m in the market for a manual treadmill, mainly because they’re smaller and more affordable. I know there are no flat horizontal settings, but some kind of excercise is better than none at all. Do manuals help lose weight effectively, as opposed to walking outside or on a motorized tread? If anyone has found them helpful, could you tell me the brand you use. Thanks!

Any tredmill in general is great for weight loss.

I don’t think a manual would work any different from a different one, though. A tredmill is a tredmill.

dude relax !!!! its easy to loose weight and ya of course tread mill works but the best is u get a good Reebok or Nike and hit the roads cos that’s better then any kinda tread mill !!!!!and the best part the road comes free !!! and once u get addicted to the roads no thread mill can replace the feeling of it… trust me…. i got off huge pounds by road . so try the roads and give it a shot ! u’ll love it

Of course it will work, even when the power goes out (LOL). Whats important is that you exercise. It may not be able to give you the variety that and electrical one may (with all the settings for elevation and rugged terrain) but they work just fine. Its all you thatts moving that machine and it takes, muscle and energy and that will help you out big time. good Luck!

I have an elliptical, but I used to have a Nordictrak manual treadmill. It’s good, because you don’t have to worry about the weather or the safety of your neighborhood.

Any walking will help you lose weight.
