Yes, it does work out your tummy by burning calories. And it also makes it jiggle.

it will burn calories all over your whole body.

You aren’t just working out your legs. You should be swinging your arms and tightening your stomach muscles as you walk too. It is an aerobic exercise, it causes fat to burn on the whole body, although it strengthens leg muscles more than other groups.

Running on a treadmill is the best aerobic exercise. You’re working more than your legs. You will look toned all over because it’s one of the best fat burners, so yes it does make the tummy look smaller since it burns the fat that’s around it. Crunches and sit-ups and things are great for toning if you don’t have fat covering your abs already. But if you do, you can do all the crunches in the world and you still won’t see abs. You have to burn fat through aerobics to shrink the stomach.

Also, your calves will probably not get BIGGER, but they will look more toned. I am a runner and I get compliments on my legs all the time. But again, it will burn fat so your calves will probably shrink some too.

Yes, my gf used to work out on treadmill and believe me I noticed when she did. Sit ups also work on your abs!!!

In addition, I’d recommend the G.I. diet which essentially amounts to eating fewer foods that increase your insulin making you less hungry. (Less food means you lose weight.)

    Good luck. Knock em dead.

it works out your whole body, because you are supporting the upper half of your body when you are walking, hold your stomach in to help tighten your stomach muscles

you are burning caleries and fat by doing cardio. you are also increasing your metabolism so that your body will burn off more caleries through out the day. so cardio is very important for your whole body. you could also add some crunches to better tone your ads.
