I was looking online for ways to improve the health of my dog by exercising him, and saw treadmills listed as an option but they are sometimes associated with training dogs for fighting. Why?

It’s a quick easy way to build muscle. Easier than walking your dog.
It builds up the muscles and they want very muscular dogs for fighting.
It conditions the dog quicker. Gives them more indurance and keeps them in shape. Fighting dogs are treated like high performance athletes so they can win the big bucks.
It can build a lot of muscle because it offers speed and resistance not offered in a walk or run
dogs are very active animals and they can run for alot longer than most people. i wish i had a treadmill so i could have my dog get on it. i dont run at all i walk my dog but i wish she could run. she would love it
People just stick their dogs on there. Builds muscle, quickness, and endurance.
What’s worse, is they do it because it’s easy. They just load their dog and let them run, probably go off and do some other things too. Come back, oh dog’s tired, break time now. It’s horrible!
